INTRODUCTION AND GUIDANCE TO REGISTER VPS IN VULTR

I. REGISTER VPS SERVER VULTR

First we access the homepage of Vultr.

Create a VPS account

Here you need to enter email information to create an account on Vultr, select Sign Up. Then open the mail to click on the link to confirm the completion of the VPS registration.

II. PAY

Signing up for an account is simple, but buying a VPS is another thing, because Vietnam is often "scrutinized" very carefully because of using tricks to create multiple accounts to receive more promotions.

If the correct information, you will be immediately transferred to the payment interface. Vultr supports payment via Credit Card (Visa / Master) and Paypal.

If I use Techcombank's Visa card to register without any difficulty, do not try to create multiple accounts to prevent mass block.

You will be charged $ 1 to verify the bank account will be refunded after completing registration.

Enter the card information, note the minimum deposit amount is $ 5. Next choose Make a Payment to complete the VPS registration.

Currently 5 $ Free trial, when buying VPS you will be added $ 5 more to your account Vultr.

III. OVERVIEW OF VPS MANAGEMENT INTERFACE AT VULTR

Generally Vultr VPS management interface is more eye-catching than DigitalOcean and Linode, is reponsive well.

On the left, there are 5 main menus Server, Billing, Support, Affiliate, Account and corresponding function menus on the right. We go from top to bottom of these menus.

1. MANAGEMENT INTERFACE MAIN VPS IN VULTR (SERVER)

Almost all VPS administration works in this Server menu.

INSTANCES

If you have created VPS, you can see the list of VPS here. Includes information about hostname, RAM, IP Public, Location (datacenter), the amount to be paid for VPS, Restart, Stop VPS functions.

SNAPSHOTS

Features to manage manual VPS / Server backups.

Creating snapshots on Vultr Free VPS features like creating snapshots on VMWare, Virtual Box virtual machines.

To create snapshots, go to the Details Server of each VPS to manipulate. Here, the snapshot management is just a show for you to see.

ISO

This function is very good that most other VPS providers do not have, it helps you install the operating system for VPS from ISO file.

If you want to install the operating system from the ISO file, you select Add ISO and then enter Direct link (direct link), Vultr will automatically download to your system the file size to a maximum of 5192 MB.

Startup Script: manage VPS by scripts when starting server, have any scripts or you add here.

SSH Key: function to add Public Key to VPS via Vultr's web interface. This way, instead of password authentication method, I will have a detailed tutorial later.

DNS

Configure using Vultr's DNS system. I recommend that you use VPS from any vendor, use that vendor's Nameserver for synchronization, to get the best query speed.

Run any website you visit here to add the domain.

BACKUPS

Automatic VPS backup management.

This paid function is like a snapshot, but the backup job is done automatically every day. Vultr will only keep 2 full backups for you on their Datacenter, a little bit.

BLOCK STORAGE

Additional storage capacity for VPS, currently free 50GB for VPS location settings in New York and New Jersey.

RESERVED IPS

Premium features, used to store VPS's Public IP.

When using this feature, IP VPS will always be yours even if you have created a new VPS, you can still configure that VPS using Reseved IP, like you bought this IP of Vultr.

FIREWALL

New feature, help enhance VPS security. Although not a genuine product, but it also helps to reduce the load for VPS partly because it is built completely separate from your VPS.

2. MANAGEMENT OF PAYMENT AND FUNDING AT VULTR (BILLING)

This section relates to the forms of payment and recharge, you have many bank cards, add or add payment information via Paypal depending on you.

• Current Balance: the remaining balance in the account is used to pay monthly bills.
• This Month Charges: Amount to be paid in the month.
• History: monthly payment log.
• My credit cards: credit card information, how much money you want to deposit, choose the amount you need to pay then click Make Payment With Selected Card

When buying VPS or registering domain hosting that cannot be paid by card, I switch to using paypal it will automatically deduct money from Visa card without having to transfer money to Paypal anymore.

What’s the Difference Between Canon’s Regular and L-Series Lenses and Which Should You Buy

Canon sells regular and L-series lenses (the "L" stands for luxury). While the lenses may have similar specs, you can usually except L-series lenses to have better optics, build quality, and autofocus control, and a few more features. Let's take a look.

While there are great, affordable, Canon lenses available, you've probably seen lenses that have similar specs on paper but wildly different prices. For example, the Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM lens is $449 while the similar-sounding Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM UD is $1,349. They have the same focal range and aperture, so what's different about the regular and the L-series lens that makes one worth so much more?

Canon's lenses come in two categories: non-L lenses and L-series lenses. The "L" in L-series doesn't actually mean very much; it just stands for luxury. If the name of the lens has an L in it after the aperture value, it's an L-series lens. If it doesn't, it isn't. You can also tell from the design of the lens. L-series lenses have a red ring around the top and the telephotos are white; regular lenses are just black.

L-series lenses are Canon's professional lenses; they're designed to meet the needs of working photographers, although plenty of amateurs also own L lenses. This means that there are a number of factors that—generally—differentiate them from cheaper non-L lenses even if they have the same focal length or aperture.

Better Optical Quality (Normally)

L-series lenses generally have better optical quality than non-L lenses. There are one or two examples of some non-L prime lenses having similarly good optics, but across the board and in like-for-like comparisons, L lenses win handily.

This means there's less distortion, chromatic aberration, vignetting, lens flare, and the like. Photos will also be sharper right out of the camera. Basically, the images produced by an L lens will be noticeably better—at least to someone who knows what to look for—than images produced by a non-L lens.

L lenses also tend to have faster apertures than non-L lenses. Canon's fastest 50mm is the f/1.2L; the fastest non-L 50mm they offer is the f/1.4. You won't find a non-L telephoto lens with an aperture wider than f/4; the 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II is one of the most popular L-lenses around.

Better Build Quality

Canon's L-series lenses have better build quality than their non-L counterparts. The higher quality optics mean they're bigger and heavier (the 50mm f/1.2L weighs 1.28lbs while the 50mm f/1.4 weighs 0.64lbs); they also use premium materials. Many non-L lenses make heavy use of plastic components, while L lenses tend to use a lot more metal. This means that the majority of them are pretty rugged and, to some degree, weather sealed. Dust, rain, sand, and the like are far less likely to get into the mechanisms or between the glass elements and mess things up.

Better Autofocus and Focus Control

L-series lenses have better autofocus and focus control than non-L lenses. Their autofocus tends to be faster and more accurate. They also have full-time manual focus (even in autofocus modes you can twist the focus ring to adjust) and focus distance scales on the lens, which a lot of non-L lenses lack.

Full Frame Support

All Canon's L-series lens are compatible with their EF mount full frame cameras. A huge number of non-L lenses use Canon's EF-S mount, which means they can only be used on crop sensor cameras. There are non-L EF mount lenses, but there are no L-series EF-S mount lenses.

The Same Filter Size

Where possible, Canon's L-series lenses all share the same filter size: 77mm. This means you can easily share filters—such as neutral density filters or polarizers—between all your lenses. There are a few L-series lenses that, due to their optical design, have a different filter size but they're all far more consistent than non-L lenses.

Should You Buy L-Series Lenses?

By now it should be pretty clear that L-series lenses have a few marked advantages over non-L lenses: they capture better images, are better built, and give you more control over what's in focus. This doesn't mean you should rush out and replace all your lenses with the most expensive bit of glass you can find, though.

Your skill as a photographer matters far more than the lens you are using. If your photos aren't well composed , it doesn't matter if they're perfectly sharp. No one looks at a boring photo and goes, "Ah, edge to edge sharpness; great work!"

CS6 Photoshop Tutorial

Depending on the version of photoshop cs6 you install is 32 bit or 64 bit that we have different ways of activation 

For 64bit window:
- If you only install 64 bit then we: 

Copy file amtlib.dll from x64 directory under Path: C: \ Program Files \ Adobe \ Adobe PhotoshopCS6. Overwrite the file amtlib.dll with & Save 

- If you have both 32bit and 64 bit versions, you have to do one more step. 

Copy the file amtlib.dll from the x32 (x86) directory under the path: C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Adobe \ Adobe PhotoshopCS6. Overwrite the available amtlib.dll file and save it




For 32bit win:

Explain the bit: Because 32-bit windows, you can not install CS6 64 bit photoshop. So you only have 32 bit installed. And in the 32 bit win C drive there is no Program Files (x86) directory, only Program Files. 

You do the following: 

Copy the file amtlib.dll from the x86 directory under the path: C: \ Program Files \ Adobe \ Adobe PhotoshopCS6. Overwrite the file amtlib.dll with & Save. (If your win is 32bit, it does not have a Program File (x86).)

How to use CrystalDiskInfo
